Bio

Hello! I’m from Querétaro, Mexico raised in the Bay. I am the youngest of four but the one with the most tattoos. My family has nurtured my love for exploring and road-trips and I am always excited to be outdoors.

I have been an educator and working in the non-profit sector for seven years now. I am a current third year at Davis double majoring in Chicana/o Studies and Sociology with a minor in Public Health. I am a strong believer in creating culturally competent spaces to better serve our BIPOC and low-income communities. I grew up translating for my parents (canon event) and advocating for myself and my community. The Chicana/o Studies department has taught me that de-colonial and non-capitalist forms of thinking can lead to transformational and healing solutions.

I am excited to meet and work with our student population as well as with our surrounding communities. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or drop by!
