Community Advising Network (CAN)
For students who are unsure if therapy is right for them, the Community Advising Network (CAN) is a great place to start. CAN assists all students, especially those from underserved populations, to achieve their goals and address factors that may be affecting their academic success. CAN Community Counselors are a diverse group of professional staff who understand student issues and are here to help. CAN Community Counselors provide students with consultation and personal counseling in addition to programs, workshops and other campus community outreach activities.
CAN Community Counselors may provide limited consultation services to students who do not wish to disclose their identity. For more information about CAN, visit shcs.ucdavis.edu/services/can.
Community Housing Listing (CHL)
CHL is a service offered to UC Davis students and other Davis community members through ASUCD. This listing service provides students with an array of off-campus living arrangements.

The EOP program offers an array of services to help students adapt both academically and socially to the university setting and achieve their educational and personal goals. The transition from high school or community college to a large research university can be overwhelming. EOP provides a caring and supportive environment for students to meet with peer and professional advisers and network with other students. Three staff advisers and a group of 16 peer advising counselors, in conjunction with other campus units, work together to offer students the following:
- Scheduling assistance
- Orientation and welcome activities
- Academic advising
- Personal and social support
- Information and skill development workshops
- Tutoring and supplemental instruction through the Student Academic Success Center
- Guardian Scholars, a support network for former foster youth

La Raza Pre-Law Student Association (LRPLSA) is an all-inclusive student organization that assists undergraduate students at UC Davis in reaching their goal of entering the legal profession. We offer our members resources, advice, information on how to prepare for law school, volunteer opportunities, as well as providing mentorship opportunities with law students of La Raza Law Student Association at King Hall. We strive to provide guidance through creating a foundation of support and knowledge for future law school students who may find the process challenging. Not only do we offer support to our members, but we also aim to expose them to as much of the legal world as possible. LRPLSA's primary objective is to introduce our members to multiple areas of law so they can discover their interests while increasing their knowledge in the field.
S.P.E.A.K
S.P.E.A.K. is a student-run organization focused on supporting and empowering undocumented students at the University of California, Davis. S.P.E.A.K. constantly works to raise awareness on the campus and in the surrounding community of the diverse struggles undocumented students experience while completing their undergraduate studies.
S.P.E.A.K. also works to create a safe environment where undocumented students can share their problems as well as their accomplishments and strives daily to empower and help one another financially, emotionally and psychologically.

Students who want to get on track and stay on track utilize advisers to plan their academic pathway. Navigating your path to success is as easy as meeting with a pre-professional or pre-graduate school adviser. You are welcome to make an appointment with an appropriate advisor or come to drop-in hours if you want to prepare to apply to health professions schools, graduate school, teaching credential programs, law school or business school.
Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS)
SHCS provides a wide variety of medical, mental health and wellness services to all registered UC Davis students regardless of insurance coverage. Most services are provided through scheduled appointments, however urgent care (services without appointments) for acute medical and mental health needs are also available. Services are provided at two primary locations: The Student Health and Wellness Center and North Hall.

The Student Recruitment and Retention Center (SRRC) stands for educational equity. Our student-run and student-initiated programs foster holistic academic and personal development while raising political and cultural awareness, thus empowering students to act as dynamic leaders for their communities. We accept the challenge of creating a society that provides a quality, culturally sensitive, comprehensive education for students. Furthermore, we are dedicated to creating an environment of collective action that will work to ensure the perpetuity of academic achievement among future generations. The SRRC family is a group of diverse students who are involved to serve their communities, and also dedicate themselves to journeying together toward collective holistic empowerment. This includes peer mentoring, study support, leadership retreats, "real life" planning, K-12 enrichment and funding opportunities.
