Powerful. Community-centered. Holistic support. Wisdom. Joy. Empowerment. These are the words that inspired the Undocumented Student Resource Center graphic element. The words and thinking behind this image remind us to continue engaging and be led by the undocumented community. In spite of uncertainty, our community carries wisdom, immeasurably contributes to our campus and society, and centers precious knowledge. Our center is dedicated to serving these students and their communities. This is expressed through an image of people in collaboration and in community, held by their humanity and shared wisdom.

Mission Statement

Built on the foundation of educational equity and opportunity, the Undocumented Student Resource Center at UC Davis strives to empower undocumented students, their families and members of the community in being informed leaders and active participants in our communities. The Center strives to educate and build awareness of changing policies affecting California's undocumented population. We acknowledge that immigration status is one aspect of an individual’s identity that does not solely define a person or their capacity. We promote a holistic approach to recruitment and retention of students in higher education, taking into account a student’s mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
