I was Born in San Francisco CA and I am currently a Third-Year Political Science-Public Service Major. I am also a first-generation college student and a daughter of immigrants. Both my parents like many other people migrated to the U.S from El Salvador in search for a better life. Their harsh experiences of navigating a whole new country with lack of knowledge of the English language and trying to provide a better life for their family motivates me to pursue a career and find ways to support people that are undocumented and that have to go through similar challenges of residing in the U.S. Working through the Undocumented Student Resource Center allows me to help students that have these struggles.
