Currently I am a second-year majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology on the Pre-Dental path and am a proud first-generation student born in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. When applying to colleges I encountered many doubts, whether or not I’d be able to attend a 4-year university like I had dreamed but after coming across the AB540 and Undocumented Student Center here at UC Davis I was made aware of the resources available to me. For that reason I am very excited to be apart of the team and share what I have learned with other students in the same position. Community building is very important, especially in college and this center is a perfect place to start.
