- Polishing your resume (even just getting started with one!)
- Finding opportunities for growth at Davis and beyond
- Considering graduate school options
- Getting involved in research on campus
- Realizing your professional vision (no matter what it might be!)
About Me
Hello! My name is Elliott Johnson and I’m really excited to help you make space to discuss the professional “bigger-picture” of your life. I grew up in Nor-Cal and went to graduate school at UC Davis for my PhD in Human Development. While there I studied a combination of child development and cognitive neuroscience. After a brief academic career in Psychology research, I realized that I wanted to focus full-time on supporting students. I enjoy the challenge of helping folks get un-stuck, and have already helped hundreds of students in my past 4 years at the UC Davis Career Center. I serve as the official liaison between the Career Center and the USRC, and have been constantly impressed by the tenacity, vision, and brilliance of students in the community. When I’m not working, I love reading, finding new places to eat, traveling with my family, playing DnD, and going to music shows (especially metal)!
