NCORE 2016: San Francisco
The AB540 & Undocumented Student Center was honored to be selected to present at the 2016 National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, held in San Francisco June 1-4, 2016.
This year, our program was titled: UndocuAlly Speakers Bureau and highlighted the creation of the UndocuPride Speakers Bureau as a student-driven component of an educators’ professional development curriculum.
Information covered included our campus context, a program overview and a demonstration of the student panel demonstrative of the speakers bureau.
Feel free to take a look at the power point used during our presentation, as well as the handout that the student participants of the speakers bureau created to help allies better understand how to support the undocumented student community.
Feel free to contact Andrea Gaytan, Director, or Daniela De La Cruz, Mentorship Coordinator, if there are any questions regarding this presentation.
