We are seeking applicants for the BikEmpower Program, a AB540 and Undocumented Student Center pilot program sponsored by TAPS and UC Davis Police. The program is looking for incoming students in need of a bicycle and interested in the program. The program hopes to provide a community for first generation, low income and/or undocumented students, but we encourage everyone to apply. The program will provide selected applicants with a used bicycle to help them navigate the UC Davis campus and create a sense of community through workshops and activities. Participants will learn basic bicycle maintenance and participate in a community to help them on their college transition.
